Pioneer Valley SF sales climb 26.8% in 2nd Qtr – median drops 1.7% to $178,000

Sales and Median Price – Single family sales in the Pioneer Valley rose 26.8% during the second quarter; from 993 for the second quarter of 2011 to 1,259 this year. The median price dropped 1.7% from $181,000 to $178,000.  County figures vary.

Key Points
Inventory – Dropped 3.5% from 3,310 to 3,195 listings
Days on Market – Rose .6% from 164 to 165
Listings Under Agreement – Rose 17% from 1,135 to 1,538
