MAR Good Neighbor Award

A special congratulations to RAPV member Cynthia Hinckley who was awarded the 2010 Good Neighbor Award for her work with Bright Spot Therapy Dogs. Here’s what MAR said of her work:

“Because of her love of dogs, six years ago Cynthia Hinckley started Bright Spot Therapy Dogs after seeing first-hand the difference a human-canine connection can make in the lives of people suffering from a variety of illnesses and mental impairments. Today, Bright Spot Therapy Dogs has dozens of volunteers who bring specially trained dogs to help clients at hospitals, specialized children’s programs, psychiatric facilities, hospice programs, schools and rehabilitation centers.”

Cynthia accepts the Good Neighbor Award at the November 2nd Election of Officers and Directors Luncheon

Cynthia was nominated by Coldwell Banker Upton-Massamont, her former office. She now works out of Pedal to Properties in Northampton.
